The dress is an informal garment made from cotton It is a shift shape and is made from two pieces. The dress has cap sleeves. It is just above the knee in length and can be described as a mini dress. It originates from the 1960s.

The pattern and colour is bold; Abstract anemones and dandelions mingle on a turquoise ground. The sleeves are yellow and draw from the colour of the dandelions.
